Enactus Southampton is a student-lead social enterprise and an affiliated society of the University of Southampton Student's Union. 💛Who are we? We turn ideas into reality, creating local impact and changing lives. Enactus Southampton is for everyone. No matter your interests or your degree, there is a role for you here. Not only were we the Official Enactus Team of the Year (woo!) but we also placed 2nd at our national annual competition 2026! 🌟Our Projects/Teams🌟 🍲WonkyBowl: Our FLAGSHIP project! We sell fruity cookies to fund our meal donations to those in need, saving WONKY food from landfill, and providing nutritious meals in Southampton and Winchester. We’ve won competitions including the Sodexo Stop Hunger, and Ford C3 Philanthropy, raising over £4,000 for us this year alone! This year we we’re also featured on BBC News and the Radio. This year we are also planning to expand our healthy eating education programme and get our products out in stores. 🥤SafeSip: This is our newest project! Created in the innovation workshops last year (another excited section of the society!), winning multiple funding competitions, and presenting at Ideas4Impact at the National Expo. Drink spiking is unfortunately growing in the UK, and SafeSip aims to raise awareness and design a drink stirrer that can detect dangerous substances in your drink. Helping people feel less anxious on nights out and genuinely improve nightlife safety. 💡Innovation: Got an idea for a start-up? Passionate for your local community and making change? The Innovation Team is the one for you. You’ll take part in weekly workshops throughout term 1, creating and planning a project idea that tackles the Sustainable Development Goals, presenting at our Innovation Showcase in front of a panel of judges at the end. If you win, you’re project has the chance to become next next Enactus Southampton project, just like SafeSip! 🪩Marketing and Fundraising: From planning our socials (Quiz nights, talent shows, and movie nights), to organizing and running the fundraisers, and creating marketing content for the social media.
