Fandom Society
Nerds, geeks and fans of all types, this is your society! Whether you’re a TV geek, a Whovian, a film or video game fan or just enjoy a casual night of Netflix, we cater for all movie and TV tastes. Once every week, we meet and book out a theatre room as well as on Discord to watch a TV show or film as voted for by society members. This year, we are planning to host a social biweekly, which sometimes means teaming up with Union Films for reserved seating at one of their showings, or heading out to locations such as The Hobbit Pub or Board in the City. President
- The President shall oversee the organisation and management of the Group and the Committee as a whole; ensure the officers’ accountability to Members, the Committee, and the Students’ Union; and represent the Group to all external interests.
Treasurer
- The Treasurer shall oversee the financing of the Group, set the Group's budget, and maintain the accounts of the Group. They are also responsible for submitting funding requests to SUSU when needed.
Health and Safety Officer
- The Health and Safety Officer shall provide assistance for the Group’s Members during the course of society events including supporting the formulation of risk assessments. They are required to undertake WIDE (Welfare, Diversity, Inclusion and Equality) training through SUSU and monitor the accessibility, inclusivity and diversity form.

Secretary
- The Secretary shall oversee the administration of the Group, take minutes at General Meetings and Meetings of the Committee, and maintain the register.
Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Fandom Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
