President
- The Society President is responsible for the overall running of the Society and need to have a vision for the society and how they intend to move forward. Tasks include setting agendas, targets and deadlines, motivating other committee members and being the main contact for the students’ union to get in touch with if there’s an issue that needs resolving.
Treasurer
- The treasurer play a vital role in the financial management of the Society and must report to the committee. The treasurer is in charge of the society budget; working out the cost of events, collecting any fees and arranging sponsorships and grants. You must ensure records and procedures are maintained and that the society remains financially viable.
Welfare Secretary
- The welfare secretary is responsible for looking after the welfare of each society member by ensuring a safe and inclusive environment is achieved. They will also act as the first point of contact for any issues a society member is facing and be able to assist them where possible or signpost them to available support services.

Media Officer

- The Secretary is the principle administrative officer. They would be responsible for supporting the president and communication with other committee member and the society as a whole. The Secretary is also the backbone of the organisation of any society and ensures that things run smoothly.
Sports Secretary
- Responsible for organising sports activities of the society. The Sports Secretary is also responsible for representing, on behalf of FilSoc, in possible engagements of collaboration with other societies relating to either recreational or competitive sports.

Vice President
- The vice-president is the right hand of the president. The president could struggle doing a mass load of work by themselves, therefore a vice president is there to help with the workload and decision making process. A vice president must also always be prepared to administer the role of the president whenever needed/the president is absent.
Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Filipino Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
