Gaana Society
Gaana is a fun and energetic dance form originating from Tamil culture. We hold weekly sessions where anyone can join, whether they've been dancing for years or have never even heard of Gaana before. We currently perform at numerous shows throughout the year, where the society are able to showcase their talent.
Gaana dance originates from the streets of South India - it is all about the raw passion and emotion of the people.
We seek to provide opportunities for everyone with different backgrounds and have you learn about this deep-rooted, cultured and colourful dance form. For those who are competitive, we provide various opportunities to take part in competitions and events to showcase your talent, and to spread the energy and fun that we have to a wide audience.
We would love for you to join us to express, energise and emote through dance, regardless of your level of expertise!
