Tigers (Tennis)
Hello! We are Tigers Tennis - Southampton's Medics Tennis Club. If you're looking for a hit around, to play a match or just to learn how to hold a racket, this is where you want to be! We run two sessions Wednesday 7-9pm (more drill and match focused) and Saturday 9-11am (more fun and games) at Wide Lane Sports Ground and welcome everyone from complete beginners to experienced players. Non-Medics are also welcome to join! We also have chilled (and sometimes slightly competitive) socials every few weeks run by our wonderful committee, for drinkers and non-drinkers alike. This £10 membership will give you access to: - 4 hours of training sessions every week = amazing value for money compared to booking your own courts. - Spare equipment (racquets & balls) so you are always able to participate. - Weekly opportunities to have a laugh with other students and enjoy a society with a casual level of commitment. - Opportunities to develop your skills as a tennis player. - Competitions with other unis (e.g., Brighton/Birmingham varsities & NAMS [multi-university tournament]). - A chance to meet other students and expand your friend networks & have a laugh.
