About Union Southampton Dance

We are Union Southampton Dance (USD) and we represent all the individual dance societies we have on offer here at Southampton. We are the committee who oversee all aspects of dance at Southampton and plan all our key events throughout the year. These include our annual show, Pure Dance, where all classes from all our societies perform for friends and family in a professional theatre. We also have our competitive squads who travel around the country and represent Southampton at various inter-university competitions, as well as at our very own Southampton Dance Competition. We also hold some amazing USD socials throughout the year, including the ICONIC Fundraiser of the Year, Southampton Come Dancing, our White T-shirt freshers social, Halloween socials, Christmas Balls and our awards Boat ball. These are a great way to bring the whole of dance together and to have some fun outside of the studio! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch and we hope to welcome you to the USD family!
