Come along and try out water polo, we welcome all abilities! All you need is a swimming costume and you're all set! Water polo is a team sport played in a swimming pool. Two teams try to score goals by throwing a ball into the other team’s net. Players swim, pass, and defend while staying afloat, and they cannot touch the bottom of the pool. Each team usually has 7 players in the water, including a goalkeeper. So come along and try it out!

Southampton University has a Men's team and a Ladies' team entering BUCS and playing a variety of friendlies, offering a full fixture list and opportunity for players of all abilities to compete and learn. Out of the pool we also offer a great socials, encompassing everyone's enjoyments.
