Moose (Rugby)
A strong team ethos with a dedication to the improvement of everyone in their rugby ability leads to us creating successful rugby teams with a focus on enjoyment above all else. Academic help is also provided. For next season we are looking to win the Medical Schools' Cup to earn us our 4th title. We offer student led clinical teaching to medical students to help for placement and exams! Sessions are held across the year hosted by older students, anyone is welcome!
SUHRFC – The Moose are the hospital rugby team in Southampton.
We field two teams a week competing in regional and national competitions. In recent years we have come away champions in both XVs and VIIs medical school cups.
Beyond rugby we organise frequent socials and weekends away, with annual tours. These events are well loved and attract a strong contingent of social members in their own right.
