Conservation Volunteers (SUCV)

We run local conservation days on Sundays, restoring ecosystems and biodiversity around Southampton and Hampshire. We work with local nature reserves and wildlife trusts on heathland restoration, invasive plant removal, coppicing, tree planting, and more. Membership is free, along with free tea, coffee and biscuits on tasks. We also hold socials. We meet on Sunday mornings around Southampton, usually around 9, and mostly use buses to travel to tasks, but we also volunteer at places within walking distance, we usually come back around 4. Remember to join the mailing list or Whatsapp group and sign up to the tasks, so that we know who's coming.

  • The Task Manager is in charge of organising tasks each week by contacting local volunteer groups or planning society run tasks when needed.

  • Looks after the welfare of society, this is who to go to it you have a welfare issue.

Membership Information

These are the current membership fees offered by Conservation Volunteers (SUCV), although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
