Neurodiversity & Disability Society
We're a society aimed at students who identify themselves as neurodivergent or disabled, those who are undiagnosed or self-diagnosed, and any members of the community that wishes to learn more about neurodiversity and disability issues.
The majority of our members are active on Discord, an up-to-date link can be found in our Linktree.
We are currently hosting weekly socials every Friday from 6–8pm. We hold a variety of events such as craft nights, movie nights, board game nights, personal project nights, presentation nights and more!
We also post about our events and other updates on our Instagram page which is @nddsoc.

President
- The President shall oversee the organisation and management of the Group and the Committee as a whole; ensure the officers’ accountability to Members, the Committee, and the Students’ Union; and represent the Group to all external interests.
Treasurer
- The Treasurer shall oversee the financing of the Group, set the Group's budget, and maintain the accounts of the Group. Vice-President – (we have our elected VP Iona currently but it is not currently formalised in the constitution so this would amend that.) The Vice-President supports the President in the organisation and management of the Committee and Society, with a particular responsibility for engagement, diversity, and communications.
Welfare Officer - 1
- There shall be two Welfare Officers. The Welfare Officers lead the Society’s support services. They are responsible for welfare material delivered by the Society and signpost Members in need to appropriate support services offered by the University, the Student’s Unions, and local disability and neurodiversity support services. They should also support diversity within the Society.
Secretary
- The Secretary shall oversee the administration of the Group and take minutes at General Meetings and Meetings of the Committee.
Technical Officer
- The Technical Officer maintains the essential computing services of the Society. Coding skills are preferable for this role.
Membership Information
These are the current membership fees offered by Neurodiversity & Disability Society, although many clubs and societies offer a free period for new members to try out their activities.
